Golden Ticket Day!

Today all the children who earned their Golden Tickets (those who had 97%+ attendance this term) were very excited as the circus come to town and set up shop on the back grass!

First, all of the golden ticket owners had the opportunity to  see a thrilling circus show! 

Next, we returned to the big top to have a go at improving our own circus skills!

Sienna in particular was an absolute super star with the flower stick and she even gave us all a demonstration of her impressive tricks!

Fingers crossed that everyone in the class will get to join us for the next Golden Ticket Day!

Science Week!

Last week, to commemorate National Science Week we investigated sound. 

We made musical instruments then discussed the volume and pitch of these instruments.

Marvellous Maths!

Today in maths we were looking at creating symmetrical patterns by reflecting a design accurately in a vertical mirror line. 
Since we are now so close to breaking up for our Easter holidays we created Easter cards with symmetrical designs.

Our Trip to Harvington Hall

This half term we went on a school trip to Harvington Hall to learn all about how the Tudors lived!

We had a great time hiding in priest holes, dancing like wealthy Tudors and even helping out in the kitchen as poor servants.
